On the afternoon of February 20, 2025, His Excellency Sar Kimsan, Secretary-General of the Tonle Sap Authority, representing His Excellency Thor Chetha, Senior Minister and Chairman of the Tonle Sap Authority, presided over a meeting to discuss the submission of information and data related to projects for the Public Investment Program for the rolling three-year period 2026-2028 in the water resources and meteorology sector. The meeting was held at the conference hall of the Secretariat of the Tonle Sap Authority.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretaries-General, heads of four departments, and officials from the Planning and Cooperation Office of the Secretariat of the Tonle Sap Authority. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and prepare the content, define priority projects in line with the roles and responsibilities of the Tonle Sap Authority, and align them with the strategic plan of the Tonle Sap Authority and the national development plan. These projects will be included in the Public Investment Program, with clear objectives, expected outcomes, and project budgets to serve as a comprehensive Proposal document for negotiations and engagement with development partners.
