Activities to Study about the Sharing of Benefits and conflict of interest between Relevant Stakeholders in Natural Resources Consumption
From 01 to 03 September 2015, Mr. Yan Samrith, Director of the Department of the Legislation and Publicity, led a to study about the conflict of interests between those involved in natural resources consumption in Tonle Sap region with sustainability in order to promote the implementation of laws and regulations in management, conservation and development of natural resources and biodiversity in Tonle Sap region and the related areas. The study was to understand the impact and the conflict of interests in exploiting advantages of natural resources and to monitor the implementation of all the regulations in solving the conflict of interests occurring in Pursat Province by meeting with relevant local authorities (village / commune), fishing communities and related people.
