Activities to Study About the Strengthening of the Implementation of the Legal Standards in Relevance to the Protection of Natural Resources in Tonle Sap Area

From 03 to 05 August 2015, Mr. Yan Samrith, Director Department of Legislation and Extension, and the working group implemented the action plan to strengthen the implementation of the legal standards in relevance to the protection of natural resources in Tonle Sap region and its related areas in order to further effectively participate in monitoring the legal standards and regulations in the conservation, development and management of natural resources and biodiversity in Tonle Sap region and its related areas in Kampong Thom Province. This action plan implementation learnt about the publication, awareness, strength-weakness as well as challenges and effectiveness in implementing the legal standards and regulations of the Royal Government in protecting natural resources by discussing directly with relevant institutions, local authorities, fishing communities and people who are dependent on Tonle Sap.​
