The Participation of the National Consultative Meeting on the 5 years Strategic Plan (2016-2020) of the MRC

​On 16 June 2015, Mr. Yann Samrith, Director of Department of Legislation and Extension of Tonle Sap Authority, attended the National Consultative Meeting on the 5 Years Strategic Plan (2016-2020) of the Mekong River Commission (MRC), which was organized by Cambodia National Mekong Committee (CNMC) at the auditorium of the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (Derm Tnaot Building-Kbal Tnal) under the auspices of H.E Te Navuth, Secretary General of CNMC, High Representative of Excellency Minister of Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, and Chairman of CNMC, with the participation from member officials as representatives of ministries, national institutions, Secretariat of CNMC and technical officials from MRC, in total of 32 participants. The workshop has the purposes to: (1) present the preparation progress of the strategic plan of the MRC (2016-2020) and (2) to review and discuss the content of the draft of the final documents of the strategic plan, to gather feedback from MRC members and to undergo the regional consultative meeting in Laos in the future in order to make the document appropriate for joint implementation.
