Participation in the Courses on Public Procurement at the Ministry of Economy and Finance

​During the 06-day period from 04 to 12 May 2015, Mr. Sar Kimsan, Director of the Department of Administration, Planning and Cooperation, and officials of Tonle Sap Authority attended the Courses on Public Procurement for the directors of the procurement units of all institutions for national procurement implementation, which was organized by the Ministry of Economy and Finance in the auditorium of the Ministry Economy and Finance. This course was organized in order to encourage the procurement in the ministries, institutions, public enterprises and public administrative institutions to be more smooth and more effective in accordance with the provisions and regulations relevant to the public procurement and to encourage the directors of the procurement units to meet their implementation with the requirements as stated in Article 12 of the Sub-decree No. 13 SD, dated on  23 February 2015 on the Procedures of the Establishment,  the Organization and the Functioning of the Procurement Committee and Entity. In this course, participants will have better understanding of the knowledge and additional abilities on procurement methods, procurement regulations, procurement plans, roles and responsibilities, dispute settlement, complaint procurement, procurement ethics, regulation and authority of the procurement management institution.​
