Attended the Hydro-diplomacy Training Workshop on International Water Law and Regional Cooperation

Since 27-28 April 2015, Mr. Yan Samrith, Director Department Legislation and Extension of TSA attended the Hydro diplomacy Training on Water Law and Cooperation (UN Water courses Convention-UNWC) through BRIDGE Project which hosting organized by CNMC that Technical and Financial supported by IUCN at PARADISE Hotel, Siem Reap Province chaired by Excellency Te Navuth, Secretary General CNMC on behalf of Excellency Minister of MOWRAM and Chairman of CNMC . There are 27 participants.
The aim of the Training Workshop is to provide CNMC and most relevant key agencies officials with better understanding of International Law and the key provisions, substantive and procedural rules, and institutional aspects of the UNWC. The training workshop also include presentation of the new publication “Strategic priorities for Transboundary Water Cooperation in the Sekong, Sesan and Srepok (3S) Basin”​
