Participation in the Third Training Courses on Dam Safety in Vientiane

On March 23rd to 27th, 2015. Mr. Khvan Pheaktra, Chief of Office of the Office of Mineral Resource of the Department of Natural Resources of Tonle Sap Authority, attended the Third Training Courses on Dam Safety in Vientiane, Laos, which was attended by GMS member countries, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam under the facilitation of the Mekong River Commission. The purpose of the training course is to share knowledge, experiences and challenges on development management issues of the Columbia and Missouri river basin conservation of the United States for all water related sectors to work with sustainability between the participants of the four countries and the participants from the four countries would make a field visit to Num Ngum 2 Dam.
