Directions of Banteay Meanchey Province
On 16th-17th February 2015, H.E Khov Meas, Deputy Secretary-General of Tonle Sap Authority, Member of the National Working Group of Banteay Meanchey Province, attended the 2014 Annual Convention on Work Result Aggregation and Work Plan 2015. This convention was held at the auditorium of Meanchey University under the auspices of H.E Korsum Saroeut, Governor of Banteay Meanchey Province, with the participation from all the composition of the provincial leaders, provincial council, director of the provincial departments, district governors, communal chiefs, national and international organizations, military forces, police, local police, 1st Strategy Center, Devision 51, National Assembly member, Senate member, Ministry of Interior, and National Working Group of Banteay Meanchey Pronvince. The Convention was held for 2 days and divided into 4 discussion groups on the topics such as: the content of the summary report of the Provincial Administration and the Ministry of Interior, land disputes resolution, border gateway management, the process and deliveries of administrative services, management of environment and nature, security, traffic accidents and so forth.
H.E Ke Kim Yan, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Authority for Combating Drugs and Chairman of the National Working Group of Banteay Meanchey Province, closed the convention; furthermore, during the meeting, one additional new deputy governor was also appointed.[Unofficial Translation]
