Participation in the Meeting of the Working Group of Mekong Water Dialogues (MWD) Program

​On December 19th, 2014, H.E Khov Meas, Deputy Secretary General of Tonlesap Authority, participated in the meeting of the working group of Mekong Water Dialogues (MWD) Program, organized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Cambodia in Siem Reap province. Participants in the meeting were the members of the working group from relevant institutions, such as the Ministry of Environment, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Fisheries Administration, Tonlesap Authority, Mlup Baitong Organization, NGO Forum and natural resources Conservation communities from Pursat and Stung Treng Province. The working group presented video documentary on the working group’s past performance on wetland management and livelihoods in Boeung Chhmar Ramsar site, continued discussing the progress of the implementation of the Program MWD which organized nationally and internationally various training courses to relevant officials and finally discussed the sustainable strategies of the continued action plan.
