The Participation in the Technical Workshop on the Decentralization of the Socio-Economic Data System of the Mekong River Commission (MRC)

​In Siem Reap Province, on December 17th to 18th , 2014, Mr. Yan Samrith, Director  Department of Legislation and Extension, and Mr. Saing Rola, Deputy Chief Office of Planning and Cooperation, attended a Technical Workshop on the Decentralization of the Socio-Economic Data System of the Mekong River Commission (MRC) in Cambodia, which was organized by Cambodia National Mekong Committee under the auspices of H.E Te Navuth, Secretary General of Cambodia National Mekong Committee, with the participation from line ministries and related institutions in total of 38 participants. The workshop aimed to understand the plan of the implementation of the decentralization of the socio-economic data system of MRC and to test the technical capacity and administration of the socio-economic data system as well as to discuss about the responsibilities of relevant ministries and institutions, including the requirements of the technical management capacity and the resources for implementation of this plan.
