Participation in the Meeting on Research Study on Tracking Fishing Yields around Tonlesap Lake

On 11st  November 2014, Mr. Peam Sea, Deputy Director of the Department of Commercial Exploitation and Conservation of Tonlesap Authority and the technical staff in charge of the implementation of the project on the research study on tracking fishing production in 5 provinces around Tonlesap lake, participated in the Meeting on Tracking the Projects Implementation funded by the fisheries program of the Mekong River Commission ( MRC) under the auspices of by H.E An Pich Hatha, Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodian National Mekong Committee, in Kampong Cham province with the participation from coordinators of the project CNMC, staffs of MRC, fishermen around Tonlesap Lake, and the relevant institutions, in totally of 21 participants. The meeting aimed to: (1). demonstrate the achievements of the project implementation in 2012-2013; (2). share scientific information and methods of implementation the project on fishing yield; and (3). collected and compiled information for evaluation on the impact on resources and to conceive more effective management plan.​
