A Meeting to Extension and Introduce Work Officials under the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology

​On 10 September 2014 at the morning at the Headquarter of the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, a meeting was conducted to extension and introduce some works to the high ranking officials work for the Ministry, which was presided by H.E Lim Kean Hor, Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology and Chairman of Tonle Sap Authority, with the participation from Secretaries of State, Deputy Secretaries of State, Inspector, General Directors, Secretary General of TSA, Deputy Secretary General of TSA, Directors of the Departments and 25 PWRAMs of the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology and Tonle Sap Authority in a totally of 96 participants.
During the meeting, Excellency Minister provided meaningful guidance to the officials to implement work under the deep reforms and to continue participating in promoting policies of the Rectangular Strategy phase III of the government to be more effective; those guidance are: (1) To strengthen and expand internal unity in a cohesive way, (2) All activities were needed to strictly implement towards the elimination of errors and passiveness, (3) To accelerate working implementation with high efficiency and (4) To expand and strengthen knowledge with high innovation.
Moreover, Exellency Minister stated about the results achieved so far and gave praise for the efforts of:
- The rehabilitation and construction work which is almost completely done and gets good results;
- Having a good cooperation with donors;
- Dealing with work related to flood and drought;     
- Better Weather forecast;
- Research information and data on Tonle Sap lake; and  
- Good coordination at national and regional level between lines ministries and institutions.
