National Consultation Workshop on Reviewing and Updating Cambodia's National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) And National Biodiversity Status Report

​On 04 September 2014 at Sunway Hotel, Phnom Penh, Mr. Pun Vudy, Chief of the Biodiversity Office of the Department of Natural Resources of Tonle Sap Authority, participated in the National Consultation Workshop on Reviewing and Updating Cambodia's National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP)And National Biodiversity Status Report, which was organized by the institution responsible for implementing the United Nations Convention on Biodiversity of the Ministry of Environment and was chaired by H.E Yin Kim Sean , Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment, with the participation of line ministries, such as the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Tonle Sap Authority, Ministry of Tourism, Forestry Administration, Ministry of Rural Development, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, Ministry of Mines and Energy, Fisheries Administration and the representatives from development partners and NGOs. This National workshop was to review, discuss, and share knowledges and edit the data and biodiversity information on the draft NBSAP and the National Biological Diversity Report with partner institutions and related stakeholders.​
