The Training Workshop on the Project Proposal, Monitoring, Evaluation for Decentralization Program

At Somatavy Hotel in Siem Reap on 03 to 05 September 2014, Ms Tes Sodavy, Deputy Director Department of Administration Planning and Cooperation of Tonle Sap Authority, attended the Training Workshop on the Project Proposal, Monitoring, Evaluation for Decentralization Program and Core Functions of the Mekong River Commission, which was under the coordination from the Integrated Capacity Building Program (ICBP) of the National Mekong Committee and was chaired by H.E Te Navuth, Secretary General, with the participation from 30 experts of the CNMC member ministries and institutions. This workshop was organized in order to make the member ministries gain more knowledge about the overview of monitoring, evaluating and understanding the mechanisms and the responsibilities of the member ministries before implementing decentralization and understanding the integration of the indicators of the involved ministries into the national framework. As a result, participants (1) have more knowledge and experiences about the method of project monitoring and evaluation for decentralization and core functions, and (2) have more knowledge to improve the mechanisms.
