The Participation in the Synthesis of Regional Workshop in Hanoi, Vietnam

​Under the facilitation of the Mekong River Commission and Fisheries Program, H.E Ing Kim Leang, Deputy Secretary General of Tonle Sap Authority, participated in the Regional Workshop on Synthesis Regional and National fish stock enhancement practices and recommendations for mitigation of the impact, which hold on 3rd to 5th September 2014 in Hanoi, Vietnam Country. The overall objective of this regional workshop is to improve fish stocks and reduce the impacts on the lower Mekong basin countries in which more specific objective are to (i) Review country investigations on current fish stock enhancement practice, issues and contains, (ii) provide analysis of social, economic, and policy drivers for fish stock enhancement in the Mekong Countries, (iii) Identified the best practice in stock enhancement in the Mekong Countries, (iv) Draft regional guidelines on good fish stock enhancement practice, and (v) Develop regional strategy and plan of action for promoting good fish stock enhancement practices in MRC member countries.
