On 29th August 2014, Mr. Yan Somrith, Director Department of Legislation and Extension of TSA, attended the Stakeholder Consultative Workshop on the Review Draft Project Document on “Generating, Accessing, and Utilizing Information and knowledge Relevant to the Three Rio Convention”, which was organized by the General Department of Administration and Natural Resources Conservation of the Ministry of Environment under the auspices of H.E Tin Ponlok, General Secretary of the National Green Growth. Project on “Generating, Accessing, and Utilizing Information and knowledge Relevant to the Three Rio Convention” processed the project proposal documents in January 2014 under the budget plan for project implementation, totally more than $ 2 million under the grants of Global Environment Facility (GEF), UNDP co-finance grants and the government counterpart. This project aimed to generate, access, and utilize information and capacity building on environmental knowledge, and is divided into 2 components implemented by the Ministry of Environment (EA). The workshop agreed on the proposals raised by stakeholders involved in monitoring and editing the project’s content, core information, and structure (propose to include several key related institutions, such as Tonle Sap Authority, Ministry of Planning, and Cambodia National Mekong Committee as Stakeholders).
