Participation in the Regional Consultative Workshop on Fisheries - Hydrology Model
From July 26 to 27 August 2014, Mr. Pheam Sea, Deputy Director Department of Commercial Exploitation and Conservation, participated in the Regional Consultative Workshop on Fisheries - Hydrology Model in Bangkok, Thailand, under the coordination of the Mekong River Commission with 31 participants from relevant institutions, Tonle Sap Authority, Fisheries Administration, CNMC, LMNC, TNMC, VNMC, and MRCS. The workshop was held to discuss the draft report at intervals of the project submitted from the Fisheries - Hydrological Model, including the results of the model to fully reach development model for the implementation of fisheries management. The workshop presented the results of the model; both positive and negative results caused by the hydrological changes, and got the approval to fully continue developing the model in the second steps.
