Research Study on Evaluating Fish Habitat and Fish Resource in Tonle Sap

​From 26th  to 28th  August 2014, the working group of Tonle Sap Authority, led by Excellency Professor Lim Puy, evaluated the fish stock and fish resource which located in Peam Tea, Prek Taol, Chnok Tru and Path Sanday area. This assessment focused on shrub and mangrove, under the water from 5m to 8m and is fish habitats, especially the fingerlings from 1 to 2 months, and the location where about 30 fish species were captured with fishing net. This research study is under the Project on Fish Stock Evaluation in Tonle Sap and other related areas under H.E Lim Keang Hor, Minister of Water Resource and Meteorology and Chairman of Tonle Sap Authority.
