The Meeting on Monitoring, Evaluating, and Updating on the 6-Month Implementation of the Action Plan of Tonle Sap Authority
In the morning on 22nd August 2014 at the Headquarter of the Ministry of Water Resource and Meteorology (Kbal Thnal), have the Meeting on Monitoring, Evaluating, and Updating on the 6 Months Implementating of the Action Plan of Tonle Sap Authority 2014-2016 was held under the auspices of H.E Hell Tonly, Secretary General of Tonle Sap Authority, with the participations from Secretary Generals, Deputy Secretary Generals, Directors-deputy directors Department, chief Office, Deputy chief Office, Advisors of TSA, consultants of Project WRMSP-ADB, representatives of the Ministry of Water Resource and Meteorology, Mekong River Commission, and agencies of Tonle Sap Authority from 6 provinces.
In the meeting, H.E Hell Tonly stressed, "Today meeting is aimed (1) to monitor and evaluate the results of the implementation of the Action Plan of each department for the last 6 months in 2014; (2) to discuss and update the Action Plan in order to continue implementing the next phase; (3) to change and share working experiences for implementing the work; and (4) to strengthen cooperation and understand the strategies for working implementation. In addition, H.E Hel Tony stated that Action Plan of Tonle Sap Authority 2014-2016 wasadopted on 29th January 2014 and was compiled from vital collections of 4 tecjnical departments in order to research, monitor, and evaluate the potential of the economy, social affairs and environment in Tonle Sap area and relatvant areas, and to compile information and data to analyze and to prepare a roadmap, vision, policy, and strategy to manage, conserve, and develop sustainably.
