His Excellency Hell Tony, Vice Chairman of the Tonle Sap Authority, Participates in Land Use Data Review in the Geographic Areas of Siem Reap Province within the Tonle Sap Region.

Under the high-level assignment from His Excellency Thor Chetha, Chairman of the Tonle Sap Authority, on March 20-21, 2025, through the invitation of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, His Excellency Hell Tony, Vice Chairman of the Tonle Sap Authority, led technical officials from the General Secretariat of the Tonle Sap Authority to participate in the review of land use and the livelihoods of the floating village tourism communities in the Tonle Sap region. This was conducted alongside the inter-ministerial technical working group at the national, provincial, and local levels, under the leadership of His Excellency Tek Ret Samrach, Secretary of State in charge of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction, covering the geographic areas of Siem Reap City, Prasat Bakong District, Soutr Nikom District, Chi Kraeng District, and Puok District.

Please be informed that Siem Reap Province has a total land area adjacent to the Tonle Sap region of 257,858.50 hectares, which includes: Zone 1: 66,700.90 hectares, Zone 2: 90,352.00 hectares, Zone 3: 100,805.60 hectares, and a total of 299 boundary markers for Zone 3.
