His Excellency Hell Tony, Deputy Secretary-General, conducted an inspection of water level stations, rainwater filtration systems in Peam Bang Commune, Stung District, Kampong Thom Province

Under the High Leadership and Guidance of His Excellency Thor Chetha, Minister and Chairman of the Tonle Sap Authority, and Head of the Government Working Group for Field Missions in Stung District, on Friday, February 21, 2025, His Excellency Hell Tony, Deputy Secretary-General, and Mr. Lok Seyla, Director of the Department of Administration, Planning, and Cooperation, accompanied by a team of young scientific researchers coordinated by Dr. Ouk Sovannara, Personal Assistant to the Deputy Secretary-General of the Tonle Sap Authority, conducted an inspection of water level stations, rainwater filtration systems, and collected water samples from key locations. These samples were analyzed for physical, chemical, and biological parameters to assess the water quality of the Tonle Sap Lake and the Chhnok Tru Reservoir in Peam Bang Commune, Stung District, Kampong Thom Province.

Alongside this research activity, His Excellency also held a meeting with local commune and village authorities to discuss violations, community participation in natural resource protection, livelihood support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents in the five villages of Peam Bang Commune.
