Research Activity on the situation of agricultural production, the use of fertilizer and pesticide in agricultural sector in Tonle Sap areas.

From Monday 9th to 13 April, 2018, technical staff of the Secretariat of the Tonle Sap Authority led by H.E Meas Oeun, Advisor to the Tonle Sap Authority have a field trip to the areas surrounding the Tonle Sap to continue research on situation of the agricultural production, the use of fertilizer and pesticide in agriculture of the people living in the areas surrounding Tonlesap including Ek Phnom and Thmor Korl districts of Battambang province. The research is aiming at estimating and identifying:
- the size of agricultural land
- agricultural crops being used
- methodology and technical aspect of crop planting
- types of fertilizers (name, country of origin, duration of usage, price, etc ​
