H.E Hell Tony leads a meeting with Department of Legislation and Extension

​Monday 26th March, 2018 in the meeting hall of the Tonlesap Authority, General Director H.E Hell Tony has led the meeting with the heads and officials of the Department of Legislation and Extension. He has given advices to the department officials to uphold their roles and responsibilities according the laws, regulations and the 2018 annual action plan, and to update their tasks and actions in accordance with the actual situation facing the department as well as the government policies.
Chairing the meeting, the General Secretary has also given additional recommendation aimed at strengthening the efficiency of the department and the Tonlesap Authority as follows:
1.Strengthening research and compiling relevant laws and regulations aimed at maintaining and protecting natural resources and environment.  
2.Strengthening publications and raising awareness of stakeholders about achievements that has been pursuing, and outcomes of researches through electronic mean, and through actual propaganda on fields at regional and national level, especially at the local communities.
3.Creating a scenario and workforce mechanism to study and dig down the history of the creation and evolvement of Tonlesap from the past to the present time, and the analysis of future evolving trend. ​
