2nd Capacity Building Training Program for Stoeung Sen Operational Committee

​23rd March, 2018 at meeting hall of Kompong Thom Municipality, H.E Professor Lim Puy, deputy head of the Tonlesap Authority and also head of Stoeung Sen mixed natural resources management project has led the 2nd capacity training program for Stoeung Sen Operational Committee including the farmer committee using water and agricultural irrigation in Kampong Thom and Preah Vihear province.  The purposes of the training are to publicize the awareness of forming a water consumption community, processes and maintenance of the irrigation system and water demands, rice seed selection, fertilizer and pesticide usage in rice and vegetable plantation, and working processes of the famer network. Presenting in the training were speakers from the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology, Cambodian Agricultural Development Institute, General Director of Agriculture, and a Pesticide company named DuPont. Participating in the training were the total of 40 trainees including 7 females.
