Activities of a Research Study on Awareness Level of the Regulations Involved in the Protection of Natural Resources in Batambong province
On 23 to 26 February 2016, Mr. Yan Samrith, Director of the Department of Legislation and Publication, conducted a research study and data collection on information of the awareness level to comply the information understanding of stakeholders about other legal framworks in the participation in the natural resource protection in around Tonle Sap Lake, Ek Phnom District, Batambang province by meeting with relevant institutions, local authorities, fishing communities and citizens. This study was to examine the implementation of the law and related regulations involved in protecting Tonle Sap Lake region and the related areas and to participate in tracking and assessing the awareness level of the relevant stakeholders on legal standards in participation the protection of natural areas surrounding the Tonle Sap Lake region.
