Activities of a Research Study on the Conflict of Interest of Natural Resources in Kompong Chhnang

​From 16 to 19 February 2016, Mr. Yan Samrith, Director of the Department of Legislation and Publication, conducted a research study and data collection on the conflict Interest between those involved in the use of natural resources in Tonle Sap Lake in Kompong Chhang Province by meeting with relevant institutions, local authorities, Plov Tuk fishing community, and  Pnong fishing community. This study was to examine the conflict of interest on the natural resource utilization occurring in communities and compiled information to participate in monitoring the use of natural resource with sustainability and set a policy for development and conservation of natural resource and environment of Tonle Sap lake.​
