H.E Khov Meas to Attend the Consultation Workshop on the Natural Protected Areas

On April 25, 2016, H.E Khov Meas, Deputy Secretary General of Tonle Sap Authority, attended the Consultation Workshop on the Preparation to Incorporate Prey Lang Forest, Southern Kro Vanh Forest, Pres Roka Forest, East Sean Pan Forest, and Ven Sai Forest as the Natural Protected Areas in Sofitel Hotel, under the auspices of H.E Say Samal, Minister of Ministry of Environment. The above workshop discussed and presented experiences related to the management of protected areas with the participation of all relevant institutions and indigenous minority communities. Minister confirmed that in the 5th term, the Royal Government stopped granting concessions on land with forest and edited the management tasks between the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in order to implement the work effectively.
