Research Activities on the Status of the Thickness/Sediment in Siem Reap Province

On April 5-7, 2016, the Working group of Department of Natural Resources of the Tonle Sap Authority made a research study on the status of the thickness/sediment and made an updated information and data in Chong Kneas and Kompong Plok area of Siem Reap province. The team studied the situation of the sediment at the location, which had people (Floating village) and no people in order to study and collect the information, data, and evaluation of the thickness of sediment from seasons to seasons as well as to study and evaluate the preliminary future risks of Tonle Sap Lake.​
